A small departure from the photos of Beacon and Maryland. I took this photo while on my way to the family reunion the first weekend in August (almost three months ago already!). This is a photo of a small protected forest near the Neversink Reservoir in NY.
I took this photo in color, knowing that I would convert it to black and white in post-processing. It came out better than expected.
There are two things that make this an eerie place:
