I only had my 200mm lens with me, so this was about as close as I could get to this cardinal (they still manage to elude me!). This photo was taken down in Maryland on Assateague Island. Almost right after I took this photo, the cardinal made a run right at me and I couldn't focus fast enough to get a shot. I don't know how wildlife photographers do it, it's tough work!
