Built on the site of the original Woodstock festival, Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center in Bethel, NY is a host to many great acts, including the Santana and Steve Winwood act I caught last Saturday. Wonderful show! Really enjoyed Steve Winwood; I forgot how many awesome bands he has been in (Spencer Davis Group, Blind Faith, etc...). Santana was also great, they were full of energy, and I loved the three drummers.
They wouldn't allow the SLR into the venue, so I brought along my little 4 megapixel S2IS. I've had some excellent luck with this camera, and it is what made me want to purchase an SLR in the first place. Going back to using it after such a long time felt very awkward. After navigating through the menus for a while, I was able to take a few decent shots.
